The Willow Tree Figurine Prayer of Peace Keepsake Box is a resin jewelry box designed by artist Susan Lordi.
On the lid of the box there is a figure of a girl with her hands folded and praying. The figure radiates calm and peace and is meant to remind of the importance of prayer and meditation.
Susan Lordi: “I wanted this character to be a humble piece, but very centering, calming, peaceful... with a universal gesture of meditative thinking. The surface of the dress features textures and patterns of vivid natural shapes. Even though it's a quiet work, I wanted the images to be very lively and have an inner vitality.”
A small box for jewellery, notes, treasures and a lovely gift for someone who enjoys meditation or prayer or to encourage someone to seek more peace in their life. The hand-painted relief lid is not attached.
